The newest trend in modern, forward thinking offices are just as frustrating as the employees that have been subjected to them think. The Daily Mail reported that open-plan offices--where all employees sit in open spaces or communal tables--have been tied to less productivity, more distraction, less motivation and lower job satisfaction. And it appears it even negatively impacts health, with employees reporting being more stressed and taking more sick days than they do when having their own space.
