Federal Reserve Bank of New York, May 2013
SITE SUMMARY:
Guys, I really, really love interactive maps. This one comes to you from the Federal Reserve Bank of NY, and it looks at student debt throughout the country, as well as the delinquency tied to paying these debts. You get to check out average debt per state, who goes over 90+ days delinquency, credit card and housing debt and other interesting factoids. Fun fact: West Virginia has the highest student loan delinquency with 18%. Student debt in the US is at $986 billion combined debt, and with a bleak job market these students are graduating into, the rate of loan delinquency has no where to go but up.SITE: http://www.newyorkfed.org/householdcredit/index.html
