Wisdom from Louis C.K. - Let the Kids Be Sad

Comedy is said to unmask truth, and I found that to be particularly true in a surprisingly poignant and insightful interview from none other than comedian Louis CK on the Conan O'Brien show. He was asked why he doesn't allow his children to have cell phones, and he had a very witty and deep reflection on how not having phones teaches kids empathy and how to cope with sadness. Perhaps no one is better suited to talk about the touch screen generation than their parents, who often find themselves trying to reconcile the new behaviors modern day technology creates and the traditional ways they themselves were raised, where things like eye contact, empathy and social behaviors were essential. Very much worth the watch.
