SITE SUMMARY:
This data based app tracks known immigrant deaths at the Arizona border since 2001. The goal is to help families identify the unclaimed bodies of loved ones who have perished or have been killed at the borderlands, as well as to help aid workers know which areas to place food and water. It is believed the militarization of the border has forced migrant border crossers to try and cross at more difficult terrain where they run out of supplies.
